Sometimes, the perfect match just happens, like a tiny little fuzzball miracle…and all the staff at Swedesboro Animal Hospital has to do is make that first introduction.
Rocco was a cute little disaster when he came to us. He was a stray cocker spaniel mix that someone picked up and brought in. He was hurt badly and could barely move because of the pain from a shattered elbow and leg. Dr. Magazu knew immediately that he could help the little pup, but that he would have to find the perfect family to help Rocco get better and live a great life.
Dr. Magazu thought the Walsh family – Beth, Larry, 12-year old Lawrence and 10-year old Sarah (and Barf Bags their 2-year-old frog!) – was perfect for Rocco during his time of need! Rocco would need several months of rehabilitation to learn how to use his surgically-repaired elbow and leg, and after that he would need a lifetime of love and gentle care from the Walsh family.
Today, 2 years later, Rocco is fully recovered, and he lives in Delaware, where he is King of his neighborhood…or at least he thinks he is!
